First it was Breitbart and Breitbart TV. Then Big Hollywood followed by Big Government. Now Andrew Breitbart is going straight at the throat of the leftwing Democrat media complex with Big Journalism. Money quote in his exclusive interview with Medaite.com:

We are defenders of the First Amendment and resolute enemies of political correctness. That’s the key to the site’s philosophy.

And that's the key to stopping the leftwing, sometimes even Marxist, occupation of the media in America. Big Journalism will be followed by Big Education, Big Tolerance, Big Jerusalem, and Big Peace, among others, the mission in each case being to attack the leftist monopoly in each realm and destroy it with the hard truth (First targets that come to mind on my personal wish list: unions, the judiciary and environmentalists).

I believe the mood amongst regular folks is ripe for this counterattack on the left's campaign to destroy western society, free-market capitalism and personal freedoms. They used to see this campaign as annoying but essentially harmless -- subject to the ebb and flow of politics in a healthy democratic republic. Now they see it for the all-encompassing disaster it has become, and the dangers it presents to the body politic. And so they see that it is time to declare all-out, merciless WAR on the left.

Andrew Breitbart is doing that very thing: openly declaring war on the left on every front, and regular folks are already lining up to enlist.
