Victimhood Is Boring
So there I was in my Monday night writing class workshopping with my peeps and critiquing three of their submissions when environmental watchdog/citizen of the world Tricia puts up her hand and declares that she is offended by my use of the exclusionary term "manpower".
The horror.
To which I answered that not only do I do not share her concern, but that her concern lacks dignity because it wallows in victimhood.
And victimhood is boring and destructive.
I remain unscathed.
