Five Unanswered Questions About Obama's Housing Bailout
And Two Answered Questions.
1. If the Democratic Congress has forced lenders through legislation to make home loans to fraudulent borrowers, isn't it the Democrats and the fraudulent borrowers rather than the lenders who are "predatory"?
2. Since plummeting real estate values caused by predatory borrowing are putting responsible homeowners "under water", why is Obama bailing out predatory borrowers?
3. If Obama is going to subsidize your neighbor the predatory borrower, why wouldn't you default on your own mortgage so as to also get subsidized?
4. Doesn't subsidizing foreclosed homes put a floor on their prices, further distorting a housing market already badly distorted by predatory Democratic legislators and fraudulent borrowers?
5. How long before the housing market simply collapses under the weight of Obama's monumental stupidity?
