The left often decries the tactics Karl Rove, Rush, Michelle Malkin, Coulter and the rest employ, demogauges who regularly indulge in character assassination, demonization, and single-minded desire to utterly destroy their ideological enemies.
We are too nice. Maybe it comes from the generally pacifist leanings that progressives tend to hold, perhaps we are just more civilized than our fellow conservatives (Ed: ?) but whatever it is we need to learn to become more ruthless.
