Lamont Connects With His 'Roots
Kos hero Ned Lamont has shown he has what it takes to carry the idiot-left vote in his campaign against Joe Lieberman: he lies when confronted with the truth. The trouble started after Lamont groupie/campaign advisor/filmographer/fundraiser/blackface portrayal consultant Jane Hamsher posted the now-famous disappearing blackfaced Joe Lieberman on HuffPo. When asked about Hamsher's tactic, Lamont answered,
Lamont, who says he doesn't know about blogs, featured Markos Moulitsas Screw 'em Zuniga in his first campaign ad, and has his own campaign blog, "Official Ned Lamont for U.S. Senate Campaign Blog". He hired Tim Tagaris, who "has been instrumental at the DNC as their blogger." Lamont also loves Blogger's Day- he said so. And a breathless New Haven Independant article quotes Hamsher as saying, not once but repeatedly,
CT voters will likely do the same with Lamont when it becomes clear that he is the prototypical idiot-left candidate: polls already show Lieberman scoring 51 percent of the vote in November.
"I don't know anything about the blogs, I'm not responsible for those, I have no comment on 'em...Independent blogs, I can't say anything about it."Just for the record, who didn't notice the time-honored leftist excuse, "I'm not responsible" in Lamont's toss-out to reporters? It comes out sounding like "I'm irresponsible."

But Dupont-Diehl said the campaign will not bow to the Lieberman campaign's demand that Lamont cut any ties with Hamsher. "She's not part of the campaign staff," Dupont-Diehl said. "She's an independent blogger covering the race."Of course she is no such thing: Hamsher has been all over the Lamont campaign. She films his commercials, she accompanies him on the road, she trumpets his blog-interfacing savvy to the world. At least she has until now. It looks like Lamont has already cast her off.
