ActMadInJihad Channels Kos

The letter from Iran's president Ahmadinejad to President Bush is a face-rub, a raw provocation intended by the mullahs to impress home Iranians by tweaking Bush's nose. I hope the Iranians continue with that tactic.

NRO's Clifford May:
Two points:
1) He’s picked up this meme from the left: "Lies were told in the Iraqi matter. What was the result? I have no doubt that telling lies is reprehensible in any culture, and you do not like to be lied to."
2) In case you don’t yet understand that he hates us for what we believe: "Liberalism and Western-style democracy have not been able to help realize the ideals of humanity. Today these two concepts have failed. Those with insight can already hear the sounds of the shattering and fall of the ideology and thoughts of the liberal democratic systems."
I have no interest in having to read "The Rise And Fall Of The Islamist Reich." The U.S. is going to have to deal with Ahmadinejad because he is daring her in the face of the world and the U.N. is useless. The Iranians know this; I wonder why they so want to provoke American wrath.

SeeDubya at JYB:
That’s it, then: Submission to monotheism versus tolerance, liberal values, and everything America ought to stand for. Go grab a leftist, slap him, and show him this letter.
Done.
