The Justice Department has announced probes into the leaks of secret anti-terror programs to the NYT and WaPo:
The Justice Department has opened an investigation into the leak of classified information about President Bush's secret domestic spying program, Justice officials said Friday. The officials, who requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the probe, said the inquiry will focus on disclosures to The New York Times about warrantless surveillance conducted by the National Security Agency since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

The idiot left was so aflame with BDS that when notorious liar Joe Wilson "exposed" his wife as a CIA employee, they spun that irrelevant tidbit into charges of revenge against Wilson by the White House for lying about Saddam's attempts to purchase Nigerian yellowcake, and a breach of national security by The White House in "outing a covert CIA operative".

Neither one was true, of course, but that didn't matter to the BDS idiots. It gave them a chance to call themselves patriots by crying crocodile tears for Agent 99.

Now we have the spectacle of anti-Bush NSA and CIA leakers emboldened to the point that they are ladling classified information into front-page headlines in the NYT and WaPo. This is MSM complicity in a campaign by the American intelligence community (the IC) and its friends to sabotage the Bush presidency, plain and simple, the war in Iraq and the war on Islamofascism be damned.

And now the Justice Department is going to investigate. I hope they have the will and means to follow through, because you can't have your major national newspapers giving away classified wartime secrets to Al Qaida and Osama Bin Laden.
